We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tree Top, Thekkady! The reception staff, especially Pravin and Sonulal, were very supportive and helpful throughout our stay. They even arranged a weight indicator on our special request to check our baggage for the airport’s minimum weight requirement of 15 kg — a thoughtful gesture that made our travel easy.
The team also took special care to provide pure vegetarian food without onion and garlic, which we truly appreciated. The ambiance is peaceful, the staff is courteous, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and caring stay in Thekkady! 🌿✨

Our stay at Hotel Tree Top was an absolutely wonderful experience. The ambience and comfort of the hotel made it truly memorable.
A special mention to Mr. Sonu Lal, who personally took care of us throughout our stay with great warmth and attention. His hospitality made us feel at home and added a personal touch to our trip.
The entire staff was extremely courteous, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, the hospitality was outstanding, and we would highly recommend Hotel Tree Top to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We were a group of 24 and stayed at Treetop for two nights... and honestly, it turned out to be the perfect spot for our family reunion. We booked the large 4-bedroom bungalow along with a few cottages, and it worked out beautifully. The common space in the bungalow became our go-to hangout zone... great for relaxed chats, laughs, and catching up over food laid out on the dining table. It just made everything feel very natural and homey.
The bungalow doesn’t have AC, but we really didn’t miss it... the weather during our stay was just lovely. Breakfast was buffet-style with a decent spread. I especially enjoyed the fresh papaya and semiya upma! For dinner, we ordered à la carte at the property, and even though we were a large group, the staff handled it smoothly. The manchow soup was a standout!
We did spot a lot of big black monkeys around the property... quite a sight! We were advised to be cautious while walking around, but honestly, they didn’t bother us at all. If anything, we might have been the louder presence there, given our group size and volume!
The property also has a swimming pool, games room, and gym. The games room, in particular, was a lot of fun! The front desk was super helpful too... they arranged tickets for the elephant ride and the Kalari show. The Kalari performance was especially unforgettable... definitely a must-watch.
If I had to nitpick, I’d say the dal at dinner could have been better, and I wasn’t a fan of the sausages at breakfast... maybe a different brand could be considered.
But all in all, our 48 hours at Treetop were truly memorable. It's a great option if you’re looking for a cozy, budget-friendly place with charm and helpful staff. Would happily recommend it!

I stayed for one day at this hotel, and it was an excellent experience. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the food was absolutely amazing. The service and overall atmosphere were also really good.
If anyone is planning a trip to Thekkady, I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel provided an average experience, aligning with a 3-star rating. Our two-day stay revealed clean accommodations, though they did not fully meet the expected standards for their star rating. We noted a trash can that appeared to have not been properly cleaned from a previous guest. Service staff exhibited a lack of attentiveness, requiring multiple reminders for requested items. The food quality was unsatisfactory; we advise against booking the breakfast/dinner combo due to repetitive options and concerns regarding hygiene in the restaurant and food display. However, the hotel's favorable location offers convenient access to external dining options. We do not recommend this hotel for guests prioritizing exceptional service or culinary experiences.

The reception staff, especially Pravin and Sonulal, were very supportive and helpful throughout our stay. We booked the large 4-bedroom bungalow along with a few cottages, and it worked out beautifully. The manchow soup was a standout!\\n\\nWe did spot a lot of big black monkeys around the property... quite a sight! We were advised to be cautious while walking around, but honestly, they didn’t bother us at all. The games room, in particular, was a lot of fun! The front desk was super helpful too... they arranged tickets for the elephant ride and the Kalari show.
